The difference between the gold and the purple sea moss is that the gold has very little taste, is higher in vitamin D (because it is dried out in the sun), supplements you longer, and is a lighter cleanse, Gold sea moss is an easy to start with if you are new to sea moss however, it will slow down the process of healing if want to remove any ailments.

Purple sea moss has a stronger sea taste and is higher in antioxidants because of the high levels of anthocyanin present. This is why it detoxes you faster and is higher in iron and other minerals.

A major reason it is used for healing, cleansing, and removing parasites is because of the high levels of L-Lysine found in the purple sea moss. L-Lysine is an amino acid that's significant in supporting the immune system.
